Drone repeater GRIF-M

A drone-repeater is an absolutely necessary solution on the modern battlefield. It is resistant to electronic warfare, has a camera, a video transmitter and an additional antenna, which increases the flight range of combat drones. It is also small and inconspicuous, so literally several of these drones in one area allow you to create controlled conditions for reconnaissance of enemy positions, equipment, and personnel. It can also be equipped with explosives and used as a regular means of impressment. Such a multi-purpose solution.

More about GRIF-M

Characteristics of the GRIF-M unmanned aerial vehicle

The GRIF-M BPAK repeater drone is designed to meet the requirements of the modern battlefield, where communication stability, autonomy, and resistance to electronic warfare are critical. Its design combines modularity, maintainability, and high relay range, making the GRIF-M a reliable tool for supporting FPV drones, reconnaissance, and tactical control.

Features of the GRIF-M repeater drone

The drone-repeater is not an ordinary FPV. At least because of the key features of the modification:

  • Works without GPS. Thanks to optical stabilization and odometry, the drone maintains stability even in the area of EW.
  • Compatibility with combat communication systems. Supports Crossfire, ELRS, TBS and other protocols – for FPV drones, reconnaissance, fire correction.
  • Stabilized antenna with active guidance. Automatically focuses on the operator or drone, providing a high-quality signal at long distances.
  • Modular design. Quick replacement of components, ease of repair, adaptation to various application scenarios.
  • Protected housing. Resistant to dust, moisture, shock, i.e. suitable for field conditions.
  • Extended flight time. Up to 50 minutes of autonomous operation, which is critical for long-term operations.
  • Possibility of stationary use. Works as a ground repeater at observation points or command posts.
  • Support for analog and digital video. Flexibility for different types of drones: from FPV to reconnaissance platforms.
  • Relay range up to 30 km. Depending on the type of antenna and conditions, it provides stable communication over long distances.

In addition, the drone repeater has a number of additional advantages.

Advantages of the GRIF‑M repeater drone

Resistance to electronic warfare

GRIF-M is equipped with systems that allow it to operate without GPS thanks to optical stabilization and odometry. This ensures stable communication even in the range of enemy electronic warfare equipment.

Increased working hours

Compared to commercial drones, the combat version of the GRIF-M has more than twice the flight time, which is critically important for long-term communication operations or support of FPV drones.

Maintainability and logistics

We design and equip drone frames ourselves, so we can quickly repair and deliver new batches of products. We always have stocks and are ready to share at any time.

Purpose of the GRIF-M repeater drone

GRIF-M is a combat drone-repeater for ensuring stable communication between the operator and drones (FPV, reconnaissance, strike) at long distances, especially in conditions of electronic warfare. It amplifies the control and video signal, allowing to operate effectively in difficult terrain, urban areas or in case of loss of direct visibility.

FPV drone repeater GRIF‑M package

The drone repeater is supplied in a set format, i.e. immediately in a bulk lot. It contains:

  • UAV (1 pc).
  • UAV (500 pcs).
  • Drone repeater.
  • Remote control (controller) (1 pc).
  • Antenna on the Mavic drone (1 pc).

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use one repeater for multiple drones at the same time?

One FPV drone repeater can support multiple drones as long as they operate on compatible frequencies (e.g. ELRS or Crossfire) and do not interfere with each other. In combat environments, it is common to use staggered connection or channel splitting to avoid signal conflicts.

  • How to ensure a stable signal over a long distance using a repeater?

Signal stability over a significant distance is achieved by a combination of several factors: using a stabilized antenna with active guidance, an increased repeater flight altitude, choosing a clean frequency channel, a powerful transmitter (for example, ELRS 1W or TBS Micro TX V2), as well as the correct orientation of the repeater between the operator and the drone. All of these elements reduce signal loss and increase communication efficiency.

  • Are permits required for flying drones with a repeater in different conditions?

Within the framework of military operations, the FPV drone relay and its flights are regulated by internal command protocols. Operators act on orders, and separate civilian permits are not required. The main thing is that the equipment meets the requirements of safety, frequency plan and tactical scenario.
